As far as how long? I was fortunate to start working for a company photographing tourists on the mountains in Whistler. I got paid to shoot right out of school and that job gave me lots of opportunities. best of luck.

		<description>Hi Rory, I was just browsing photography websites today and came across yours.  I&#039;m a golfer and budding photographer, at least, when I&#039;m not working for a living.  Love your pics, especially the ski photos.  The Black Tusk photo is particularly beautiful.  (I&#039;m a Canadian living in Belgium so it made me a bit homesick!)  Quick question:  How long did it take you to make a living from your photos after you started taking pictures seriously?
