Hi Rory, I was just browsing photography websites today and came across yours. I’m a golfer and budding photographer, at least, when I’m not working for a living. Love your pics, especially the ski photos. The Black Tusk photo is particularly beautiful. (I’m a Canadian living in Belgium so it made me a bit homesick!) Quick question: How long did it take you to make a living from your photos after you started taking pictures seriously?

Hi Paul Thanks for your comments on my blog – my apologies for the late reply.

As far as how long? I was fortunate to start working for a company photographing tourists on the mountains in Whistler. I got paid to shoot right out of school and that job gave me lots of opportunities. best of luck.
